This marks NSA's third acquisition in 2025 and its 18th overall, reinforcing its position in the personal protective equipment industry. Founded in 1979 and based in Washington, Indiana, NASCO produces high-quality protective outerwear for workers in utilities, oil and gas, construction, transportation and industrial sectors. Its products include flame-resistant rainwear, high-visibility apparel and rugged outerwear designed to protect against electric arcs, flash fires and harsh weather. On May 30, 2023, NASCO experienced a data security incident in which an unauthorized third party acquired data from NASCO's MOVEit instance. When NASCO learned of this issue on July 12, 2023, it promptly took steps to secure its systems, launched an investigation with the support of a leading cybersecurity firm, and notified law enforcement.
