  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working in HR with a focus on non-exempt workforces
  • Strong understanding of federal and state (CA, IA, and NY) employment laws

Responsibilities
  • Partner with departmental managers to align HR support with business objectives
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers on HR matters
  • Proactively collaborate with leaders on workforce planning and organization design
  • Handle employee relations matters fairly and promptly
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage, retain, and develop employees
  • Conduct confidential meetings between managers and employees
  • Act as a coach and confidant to employees at all levels
  • Collaborate with the People team on talent management programs and processes
  • Foster positive relationships with employees onsite and remotely
  • Utilize data to inform and drive HR initiatives
  • Lead employee engagement efforts and translate data into action plans
  • Provide compensation support and recommendations aligned with company philosophy
  • Develop and monitor HR policies, procedures, and systems
  • Assist with ad-hoc office support in coordination with the Executive Support team
  • Stay up-to-date on trends and laws and research impact to the team
  • Manage the bi-weekly payroll process for the Member Success team
