Requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid negotiating skills and experience collaborating with Strategy and Communications Design teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
  • Knowledgeable in media math
  • Proficient with MBox or equivalent Inventory Management system
  • 2+ years of Media experience. Preferably as a Partnerships Associate
  • Proven problem solving ability
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities
Responsibilities
  • Responsiveness to client requests including research reports, preparing schedules, buy highlights
  • Assist in preparing deck slides for client buy presentations
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration amongst Client Advice, Strategy, Communications Design, Specialty Business Units (SBUs) and external agency partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Train and manage the workloads of Associates, Video Partnerships, and review documents and reports prepared by them
  • Assist in Upfront negotiations and execute scatter needs
  • Help with the evaluation of media plans of National TV linear as well as alternative video including OTT, cinema, online video, video on demand (VOD)
  • Place, confirm and monitor media holds/orders
  • Execute smooth day-to-day account activities
  • Enter buys into MBOX and insure system reflects accurate buys
  • Update buy summary documents
  • Monitor network buys daily based on audience delivery data to ensure delivery in flight
  • Secure necessary Audience Deficiency Unit (ADU) weight
  • Assist with traffic issues
  • Assist in preparing post buy documents
  • Prepare presentation materials, encompassing all pertinent data for buy, for submission to the client
  • Pull research reports as needed including Rankers, Dimensions, overnights
  • Oversee brand allocations and corporate ownership
  • Assist in managing added value execution, including solicitation from vendors, analysis of value, and proper documentation to internal team and client
  • Oversee discrepancy resolution
  • Screen content per client buying guidelines
  • Develop and maintain media partner relationships
  • Negotiate pricing that reflects efficiencies, clients’ objectives
  • Ensure understanding of MAGNA priority networks
