Who We’re Looking For:
As a key member of our growing Sales Operations team, the Chargeback & Compliance Analyst will be responsible for leading the implementation, monitoring, and documentation of customer requirements to guarantee compliance. The Chargeback & Compliance Analyst will ensure customer requirements are met from initial onboarding and provide continued support through the investigation & resolution of any chargebacks. Throughout this process, this leader will need to will interact with internal and external partners to identify solutions to complex challenges and continually monitor compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile open chargebacks, disputes, and short payments on accounts receivable.
- Dispute invalid deductions within the required claim’s expiration period.
- Investigate and resolve all disputes pertaining to customer vendor requirements, returns, damage claims, logistics, shortages, and EDI transmission requirements.
- Analyze and negotiate settlements to recover valid charges.
- Review vendor compliance violations for root causes and identify solutions and create corrective action plans to prevent future chargebacks.
- Review new customer requirements (routing guides, labeling and packing guidelines) and define any necessary system enhancements to comply with those requirements.
- Create customer fulfillment SOPs that detail step by step direction on what is required for our Distribution Center and 3PLs.
- Communicate any changes to a customer’s requirements and provide direction on the feasibility of implementing these changes.
- Develop reports to accurately track chargeback disputes and compliance violations and provide insights to the executive team.
- Collaborate with key partners – Distribution Center, Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance
The Right Person Would Have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of chargeback analysis/vendor compliance or other relevant experience
- Experience with EDI preferred
- Experience working with Big Box retailers such as Target, WalMart, and Best Buy a plus
- Ability to read and understand Vendor Guidelines and Routing Requirements
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and listening skills
