Requirements
  • Skilled in developing Microsoft SQL Server solutions, including the ability to write and troubleshoot T-SQL and design tables, views, indexes, constraints, stored procedures, functions and triggers
  • Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Experience with programming in scripting languages (VBScript, PowerShell, JavaScript/CoffeeScript)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services
  • Experience with Crystal Reports (Desktop or Server)
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • 3 years professional development experience
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) experience preferred
  • .NET and C# design and development knowledge
  • Familiarity with Vertafore products or other insurance management software
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a developer to design, customize, and implement solutions for wholesale brokerage platforms within the organization.
  • Possession of technical languages and knowledge to apply toward identified requirements/ specifications in order to resolve production issues and/or provide business functionality.
  • Ability to review and rationally analyze requirements in a timely manner.
  • Creates and maintains application documentation as required for specified work assignments.
  • Maintains familiarity with new development tools and techniques for systems analysis, design, and development.
  • Work with tier 1 support and the infrastructure teams to resolve issues as they occur.
  • Support system integration, testing, releases, and maintenance.
  • Supports and follows all identified IT processes.
