About the Position

Old Mission is currently hiring a Municipal Bond Trader to join its growing FICC desk. The ideal candidate will be an experienced risk taker with experience trading municipal bonds and/or credit ETF trading. Credit research experience will be valuable in this role.

Responsibilities

The trader’s responsibilities will include trading and researching new opportunities in municipal bonds and/or ETFs in a relative value framework.

Required Skills

A successful track record in a principal trading capacity trading municipal bonds and/or credit ETFs
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering, statistics, mathematics or a hard science or economics
Candidates need to have mathematical OR computer programming skills (Must be proficient in Python, Excel, VBA, or R)
Superior communication, both written and verbal, and has the ability to handle multiple tasks in a time sensitive, fast paced, collaborative, collegial environment
Credit research experience is a plus but not required
