Job Description:
Position Summary:
This role provides various office and location support activities. Identifies, enhances and follows specific processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of the business to which the support is being provided; ensures the correct functioning of facilities, office and/ orbusiness support services.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Maintain records, receives, prepares or verifies documents, searching for and compiling information and data.
Respond to routinerequestwith answers by phone, in person, or by email or letter correspondence.
Perform daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting and other similar duties, following organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Responsible for processing orders for materials or merchandise from sales staff or direct customer contact.
Track and monitor orders for customers andsales personnel andmaintain customer files.
Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures.
Compile and maintain purchasing information and records.
Edits purchase requests and prepares purchase orders.
Consults catalogs and other references to obtain prices and specifications.
Maintain files and records of materials, prices, inventories and deliveries.
May contact vendors and suppliers forquotations andfollow up on outstanding purchase orders.
Additionalresponsibilitiesmay be assigned as needed.
Here’s what you’ll need:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years general office experience orequivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customersfromroutine to moderately complex questions in a clear and concise manner.
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with team and customers.
Working Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
