This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensures the team’s safety is maintained.
• Ensures the team performs quality work to produce products that meet requirements.
• Hire and lead an energetic team.
• Create schedules and execute to them.

• Drive Entry/Exit rates of assigned hardware across factory to ensure demand is met

• Support accuracy of internal logistics movement of critical work

• Utilize production, operations planning, and engineering support to eliminate internal and external blockers to deliver product on time

• Push/Pull work into the shop to improve lead times, reduce stagnation, and meet schedule needs

• Remain abreast and knowledgeable regarding applicable facilities and manpower

• Lead efforts to uncover root-cause and develop permanent resolutions on issues found during processing builds as required

• Develop and support efforts to streamline assigned products and automate production processes as applicable

• Organize and communicate the daily priorities to production leads

• Provide daily visibility, weekly status, and monthly reviews on schedule performance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Five years of operations leadership.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of aerospace assembly techniques.
• Knowledge of machining and inspection processes.
• Ability to dive into root cause and drive corrective actions.
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

• People leadership experience preferred

• Familiarity with lean principles

• Knowledge of Aerospace Machining and Welding

• Scheduling/ Production Control experience
• Supply Chain experience
• Engineering or other technical degree
