Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Material Science or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing environment
  • ISO 9001-2015, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Capability Analysis, PFMEA, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), APQPGD&T and Metrology
  • Knowledge of NDE (non-destructive evaluation) methods including dye penetrant, ultrasonic, computerized tomography, and x-ray
  • Minitab or JMP, MS Excel (including VBA), MS Visio
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCAs) to prevent new non-conformances
  • Maintain and update Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans
  • Ensure timely execution of Quality Control (QC) inspections and conduct final quality reviews of manufactured components
  • Review inspection data trends to identify quality issues and areas for improvement
  • Proactively follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for timely resolution
  • Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) area, overseeing the disposition of non-conforming materials
  • Support the assembly and construction phases by verifying and validating processes and components
  • Work closely with different teams to ensure consistent quality standards throughout all project phases
  • Develop and implement quality inspection methods and measurement systems
  • Analyze manufacturing data and conduct statistical analyses to identify and implement quality improvements
