Responsibilities

Assist with all areas of the AR ledger, including raising invoices, chasing outstanding payments, recording payments
Assist with all areas of the AP ledger, including processing bills, ensuring compliance on POs, reconciling statements, review of employee expenses
Assist Sr. Accountant with technical accounting issues
Calculation and preparation of monthly HST & GST
Assisting with balance sheet and other reconciliations, taking ownership of specific GL codes
Assist with managing a shared Finance inbox, allocating tasks and controlling information flow to ensuring no duplication
To drive efficiency in month end processing, seeking to continuously improve all areas under your remit
To support the Sr. Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis to support decision making
Use Excel and other systems to continuously improve our business processes and drive efficiency

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will focus on supporting our finance operations in a number of key areas. Role Purpose
