Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (e.g., statistics, communications, social sciences like sociology, psychology, anthropology, etc.)
- 8-10 years related experience with established track record including experience working autonomously (mix of supplier, in-house and agency experience preferred)
- Strong project management, people management and business development skills
- Analytical skills with the ability to distill vast amounts of information into digestible concepts and demonstrate strategic and intelligent thinking
- Experience presenting information both verbally and in writing
- Solid business writing skills
- Experience creating personas or target audience profiles using syndicated survey data using MRI-Simmons, GWI, or Kantar Monitor
- Experience with PowerPoint, Keynote, Word, Excel ideal
Responsibilities
- Meet with internal Ogilvy teams and external clients to understand their needs and apply knowledge of research methodologies to design and conduct research studies
- Managing and developing junior staff
- Partner with others in R&I on the following:
- Develop research plans through understanding, assessing, and documenting stated client business objectives
- Manage new business: respond to requests, develop budgets, create proposals
- Manage 8-10 projects simultaneously
- Oversee projects, including implements quality control checks for documents along the research process (e.g., review of documents for accuracy/data checking, grammar, addressing key research questions/objectives, etc.)
- Develop new client relationships and build relationships with current clients
- Cultivate vendor relationships
- Develop detailed reports including key insights and strategic recommendations in a clear and compelling manner
- Work with Ogilvy teams and clients across marketing disciplines (e.g., public relations, advertising, etc.) and a wide variety of industries, categories, and topics
