Requirements
  • Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related Physical Science with 10+ years of experience or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related Physical Science with 8+ years of Industry Experience or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related Physical Science with 5+ years of Industry Experience Preferred.
  • 7+ years of professional work experience in memory/storage engineering experience.
  • Exceptional people skills and the ability to work directly with customers.
  • Experience of working with Mobile / Automotive SoC vendors.
  • Prior Flash NAND or Storage (SSD/HDD) engineering experience as well as direct communication interface experience with the customer(s) is desired.
  • Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Identify design-in opportunities for NAND solutions & provide the best solutions for the customer(s) in order to secure maximum number of design-wins.
  • Manage progress of design-in and the requests from customer for qualification.
  • Defining specification, Understanding requirements, Managing project activities and action items from customers.
  • Well understanding customer’s working process, Deliver right solution or finding alternative with engineering team.
  • Tight/Precise sample management with planning.
  • Provide the right solution or find alternative with engineering team.
  • Plan/Discuss future products and align in new demand opportunity with customer.
  • Collaborate/Manage SoC vendor(s) to assure that all NAND solutions are well aligned with Eco trends.
  • Manage tech trend and SoC roadmap and identify the technology solutions, Manage collaborations with SoC vendors and Korea HQ for PoC / Joint Validation.
  • Coordinate test collaboration including test infrastructures, samples, and actions with Korea HQ.
  • Provide strategic input to Korea HQ regarding the technology trend in order to create new product offerings or to improve the R&R and the strategic partnership with the customer(s).
