Demandware Consultant

Job Description

- Provide architecture and design for implementations, perform gap analysis between business requirements and the package features and design the configuration, customizations, extensions, and interfaces required to meet the requirements;
- Utilize your knowledge of Demandware, Digital eCommerce Technology, and integration techniques to design a complete solution;
- Experience in Integration, Cloud-based architecture, build and deployment utilities, and best coding and implementation practices of Demandware Java technologies;
- Experience w/2+ Demandware project life cycles along with integration of Demandware applications to other systems;
- In-depth understanding of how to integrate Demandware with a corporate back office fulfillment products like SAP and CMS systems;
- Perform analysis of eCommerce tools, 3rd party platform integration, and environment infrastructure;
- In-depth understanding of how to integrate Demandware with a corporate back office fulfillment products like SAP and CMS systems;

Good to have

- Responsible for interpreting client requirements, business processes, and use cases to produce quality technical designs in the implementation, enhancement and support of Demandware centric eCommerce projects. You provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure that both the process is followed and the solution that is delivered is consistent with development policies and standards.
- Work with a Project Manager to turn client requirements into use cases and tasks with technical specifications. Work with the project Team Lead to assign those tasks to the project team, run sprint planning meetings, and participate in the project scrum meetings.
- Demandware subject matter expert beyond the basic Demandware Developer certification, and share knowledge with the team and help mentor newer developers. Expected to stay abreast of web technologies and share new ideas and techniques that are relevant to the eCommerce space.
