Requirements
  • The candidate must have 4-6 years of hands-on CRM or lifecycle marketing experience, ideally in ecommerce, retail, or direct-to-consumer brands.
  • The candidate must know how to build, manage, and optimise email flows and campaigns; not just execute them, but assess whether they are working and determine what to do next.
  • The candidate must understand customer segmentation, lifecycle stages, and how to best use data to drive personalisation and retention.
  • The candidate must have experience with email platforms and customer data tools such as Klaviyo, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment, or similar, with emphasis on process knowledge.
  • The candidate must be comfortable owning CRM performance metrics including email revenue, retention rates, flow conversion, and list health, and be able to discuss what they have improved and how.
  • The candidate must have experience with, or show strong interest in, SMS as a channel and be able to consider how to introduce it thoughtfully alongside emails.
  • The candidate must have experience working cross-functionally with creative, data, and technology teams; be able to brief clearly, follow up effectively, and keep projects moving without requiring constant prompting.
  • The candidate must have a detail-oriented, process-driven working style while also able to step back to see the bigger picture when needed.
  • The candidate must be proactive and raise gaps or opportunities rather than waiting for direction to address them.
Responsibilities
  • Own and drive Bellroy’s email and lifecycle marketing program, including flows, campaigns, segmentation, testing, and reporting.
  • Shape the direction of the program in collaboration with the manager, then build out plans and execute them, using data to continually improve.
  • Review performance of automated flows and implement improved logic, timing, and content as needed.
  • Build audience segments for campaigns, set up A/B tests on subject lines and send times, and QA all materials before going live.
  • Work with the marketing analyst to define new customer traits for more personalised targeting across email, ads, and the Bellroy website.
  • Develop targeted win-back campaigns by identifying lapsed customers (e.g., through RFM analysis).
  • Explore and map potential SMS program use cases and integration while maintaining Bellroy’s brand voice across channels.
  • Pull together monthly CRM performance reports with actionable insights and next opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to plan the monthly campaign calendar and contribute product selection and messaging ideas based on data.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and advocate for customer-driven decisions.
