- The position will entail functions similar to broadcast master control functions in a television environment with content including high-profile live events.
- The candidate must have familiarity with basic television concepts as well as the ability to navigate scheduling live events.
- The current position will entail working evenings and/or weekends, but may adjust to cover other shifts as assigned.
- Scheduling requires Excel spreadsheet manipulation for bulk schedule upload and ingest.
- Scheduling also involves manipulation of IP video routing schedules via the Evertz Magnum user interface.
- Recovery involves manual routing of IP video streams via the Evertz Magnum user interface.
- Slates involve manual playlist configuration via the Sapphire video server user interface.
- Slates also require configuring the character generator.
- Monitoring requires viewing multiple video streams or sources.
- Monitoring includes using various monitoring points in the signal path to identify and communicate the point of failure.
