  • BS in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering from a top school, with an excellent GPA
  • Medical device design experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Experience in product development and product lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated theoretical and practical engineering fundamentals
  • Exceptional technical zeal, problem-solving skills and reasoning ability
  • Mechanical aptitude to use experimental engineering techniques in the lab
  • Demonstrated motivation, curiosity and creativity
Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering input during all stages of product development
  • Convert validated product prototype (Prototype Model) to manufacturing ready model (Production Model)
  • Create Production Model Design Documentation
  • Assist Product Manager with New Model Development Process including creating and executing design of experiments for testing new materials and/or manufacturing processes
  • Develop incremental design improvements based on customer feedback
  • Develop Lexington Medical product knowledge as well as hands-on ability to operate
  • Work independently across functions including with Research & Development and Manufacturing Engineering
