Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic computer navigation skills are required.
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds with or without accommodation is required.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend spoken work instructions in English is required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment is required.
  • Applicants must be a United States citizen, Green Card holder, permanent resident, political asylee, or refugee; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Responsibilities
  • Place parts in specified relationships to one another according to manufacturing procedures.
  • Fasten parts together using bolts, clips, screws, cement, solder, and other specified materials.
  • Handle parts requiring proper orientation and placement.
  • Work at different workstations as production needs require.
  • Complete paperwork and system requirements as needed.
  • Work on a production line where tasks vary according to manufacturing procedures.
  • Identify parts and use hand tools according to descriptions or pictures.
  • Follow work instructions to build products according to manufacturing procedures and requirements.
  • Recognize deviations in parts, processes, tools, and manufacturing flow.
  • Keep the work area neat and organized.
  • Promote safety and accident prevention by observing safety practices, rules, and standards throughout each working day.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
