Requirements
- Experience in equipment maintenance or repair is required.
- Demonstrated technical and electrical skills, including the ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
- Comfort using tablets, smartphones, and other technology tools.
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and participation in random testing are required.
- A willingness to learn is required.
Responsibilities
- Start each day from home in a fully equipped company vehicle.
- Use a company-provided iPad to manage work orders and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen, refrigeration, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment.
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and manufacturer support.
- Perform service work rather than sales activities.
Desired Qualifications
- Refrigeration and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning experience and Environmental Protection Agency certification are preferred but not required.
