Requirements
  • Education and experience equivalent to an Associate degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or a job-related field of study.
  • At least one year of work-related experience.
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute.
  • Ability to pass one or more position-specific clerical or administrative skills tests, which may include 10-key, coding, data entry, filing, grammar, mathematics, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, proofreading, spelling, sorting, or timed typing.
  • Skilled in the use of standard software applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments, and the general public.
  • Depending on the location, ability to pass an extensive background investigation.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment, including prolonged sitting, standing, and walking, and to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted.
Responsibilities
  • Research, collect, and analyze data to complete projects, reports, and inquiries.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff, management, and other departments to facilitate functions and information flow.
  • Supervise or provide lead support to support staff by distributing work assignments, training new employees, and assisting with daily assignments.
  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring and the acquisition of supplies and services.
  • Maintain confidential files, process mail, and answer telephone calls and inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments, make travel arrangements, and organize and manage calendars and activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bilingual ability is preferred.
  • Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends.
  • Experience with social media, Canva, and Mailchimp.
