Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is required with at least three years work experience in administrative support services
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe) and related tools; advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to learn other tools quickly
  • All staff must be eligible for a Facility Access Authorization (Employment Authorization) by US Government Security Office
  • Travel as coordinated with technical point of contact and approved in writing by Contracting Officer in advance; in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations
  • Location: Washington, DC (CONUS/OCONUS)
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Responsibilities
  • Support requirements for Program Support and Administrative Specialist I Performs various secretarial duties including preparing standard correspondence, reports, and memos using a word processor
  • Maintains computer-based and paper files and answers and screens calls; opens and distributes mail for a department or unit
  • Answers routine inquiries; operates spreadsheet programs; uses electronic mail; maintains personal information systems and databases; manages calendars; performs semi-automated administrative support tasks
  • Assists with required data tracking and compliance reporting
  • Work under general supervision
  • Provide management support to collect, evaluate and test financial data for recurring departmental processes and reviews; summarize issues and findings in a clear and logical manner
  • Conduct periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with various field offices to identify and correct data gaps, financial discrepancies and errors
  • Work with a variety of IT systems to provide multi-functional Enterprise Services Staff Support Services
  • Provide acquisition support for all bureaus with functional areas including information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support and administrative support
  • Provide strong presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively to support standard services across the Department
  • Support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution of assigned work functions
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to a department or unit
  • Maintain thorough, accurate, and appropriately documented work products that meet milestones/delivery schedules
