- The nurse must provide comprehensive care in the patient's home, including completing skilled documentation.
- The nurse must be comfortable treating wounds.
- The nurse must serve as the patient's advocate and maintain ongoing communication with the physician, referral sources, caregivers, and facility management to coordinate care.
