Requirements
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, ideally B2B or tech
  • A track record of organizing events end to end, even at smaller scale
  • Experience managing an events budget, including forecasting, tracking spend, and making trade-offs to maximize ROI
  • Comfortable defining KPIs and building reports that connect event activity to pipeline and revenue
  • Genuinely into AI and using it to work smarter, with specific projects, tools, or workflows where you've used AI to automate or improve your work as an events marketer (research, vendor outreach, post-event reporting, lead enrichment, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HubSpot on the Customer Relationship Management side; other CRM systems will be supported by the team
  • Strong project management instincts to manage timelines, budgets, vendors, and numerous moving pieces
  • Comfortable negotiating with vendors and event organizers to secure favorable terms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to rally a team, brief executives, and engage prospects on a show floor
  • Calm under pressure and able to problem-solve on your feet when things go wrong at events
  • Willing and able to travel 30 to 50 percent during peak event seasons across North America, with potential European travel as the company expands
  • Location is fully remote for candidates in the United States or Canada; must live within roughly an hour of a major airport hub with frequent direct flights; right to work in the country; no visa sponsorship provided
Responsibilities
  • Source and prioritize events by researching, evaluating, and recommending tradeshows, conferences, and industry events aligned with the ideal customer profile and revenue goals; maintain a rolling 12-month event calendar
  • Negotiate sponsorships, booth space, speaking slots, and add-ons with event organizers, vendors, and venues to maximize value and stretch budget
  • Plan and execute end-to-end event logistics including booth design and shipping, swag, collateral, lead capture, badge scanners, audio-visual, catering, hotel blocks, and travel for the team
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact at events, setting up and tearing down booths, troubleshooting on-site issues, and ensuring a polished presence from start to finish
  • Prepare the team by briefing attendees on objectives, talking points, target accounts, and logistics; ensure everyone knows where to be, when, and what to do
  • Drive pipeline with sales by coordinating pre-show meetings, on-site customer events, and lead follow-up
  • Run pre- and post-event campaigns with marketing on email outreach, landing pages, paid promotion, and social to drive booth traffic and meeting bookings
  • Own the event budget, track costs, forecast, flag risks, and make smart trade-offs as priorities shift
  • Define event KPIs and report results with post-event analyses highlighting successes, failures, and actionable improvements
