Responsibilities
  • Proactively lead a team of accountants in a fast-paced environment, while encouraging a culture of improvement and professional growth, and working cross-functionally throughout the organization to ensure business continuity
  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they reflect the company’s financial position accurately and in accordance with IFRS accounting standards. Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to senior leadership
  • Oversee SAP ERP system, and responsible for leading optimization projects; identify and assist with implementation of systems improvements
  • Develop and implement standard processes for financial consolidation and reporting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS accounting standards and regulations
  • Continually develop, expand, and improve month-end close and financial reporting procedures, helping to drive the reduction of the close timeline by assessing and streamlining close-related activities
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with the FP&A team and other departments to gather and integrate financial data from various sources
  • Support the year-end financial statement audits
