Requirements
  • A valid DDS/DMD or equivalent
  • Eligibility for a regular or limited teaching license in the state of Ohio
  • Successful completion of residency training in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology from a CODA-accredited training program
  • Certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology
  • Evidence of research or scholarly activity is encouraged
Responsibilities
  • Didactic teaching of predoctoral and postdoctoral students
  • Clinical teaching of predoctoral students and oral pathology residents
  • Participation in the College’s dental faculty practice, including the oral biopsy service and clinical consultations
  • Mentoring predoctoral and postdoctoral students in scholarly work
  • Supporting the overall mission of the division
  • Participating in university and college governance
  • Contributing to the college’s continuing education programs
  • Providing excellent patient care both in the clinic and at the microscope
  • Success at obtaining extramural funding (tenure track position only)
Desired Qualifications
  • Post-graduate dental education or an advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in an area related to pathology
  • Eligibility for a New York license
