Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial or regulatory reporting is required.
  • At least 3 years of regulatory reporting experience, including TIC B, FFIEC002, and FR Y-7, FR Y-7Q, FR Y-7N, or FR Y-10, is required.
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and regulatory reporting requirements is required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel including Visual Basic for Applications and pivot tables, Structured Query Language, databases, and regulatory software is required.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, analyze, document, and file regulatory documents and reports, including FR Y-10, FR Y-7, FR Y-7Q, and FR Y-7N.
  • Liaise with departments, branches, non-branch entities, and Head Office to ensure timely submission of regulatory reports.
  • Coordinate, compile, and review data, reports, and other materials requested for audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Maintain relationships with Head Office staff, regulators, and auditors and respond to their inquiries.
  • Maintain regulatory policies and procedures for prepared reports.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements and changes through training, seminars, and Fed publications.
  • Prepare, review, and monitor daily calculations for asset maintenance ratios, OCC capital equivalency deposits, and FDIC pledged-asset requirements.
  • Monitor timely distribution of daily asset maintenance reports to Treasury and relevant parties and ensure proper documentation of Treasury's daily estimate.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly asset maintenance ratio, OCC capital equivalency deposit, and FDIC pledged-asset reports for monthly or quarterly submission to regulators.
  • Liaise with Treasury, Global Markets, Operation Services, and the Depository Bank to ensure pledged-securities transactions are completed timely and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide assistance and support to the team with regulatory software.
  • Coordinate software updates, perform testing as needed, and assist the software consultant in resolving software mapping and other issues.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree or MBA in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant certification is preferred.
