Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist guests, providing a welcoming and helpful checkout experience.
  • Bag groceries according to procedures while ensuring product integrity and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep the checkout area clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Share customer requests and feedback with the leadership team.
  • Provide prompt and courteous parcel pickup service.
  • Help maintain standards and meet quality expectations by 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
  • Maintain regular and timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.

Schnuck Markets Acquires Festival Foods

Schnuck Markets, Inc. has acquired 100% of the shares of Festival Foods and Hometown Grocers, Inc. through the 1939 Group, Inc., owned by the Schnuck family. The acquisition includes shares from CEO Mark Skogen and the Employee Stock Ownership Plan. The 1939 Group will maintain the existing store banners and corporate headquarters, with Todd Schnuck as Chairman and CEO. The transaction is expected to close in October, subject to customary approvals.
