  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on MarTech or a similar domain.
  • Strong experience in software development and system architecture, focusing on MarTech or related technologies.
  • Proficiency in integrating and managing marketing tools such as Iterable, SendGrid, Pardot, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Familiarity with APIs, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing, customer segmentation, and analytics tools like Netspring, Databricks, Tableau, etc.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and strategy in defining and executing the technical strategy for MarTech, collaborating with relevant stakeholders, leading and mentoring a team of software engineers, and staying informed on emerging technologies related to marketing, data, and machine learning.
  • Technical development and execution of the marketing technology stack, including the notification platform, content management, data layer, affiliates, and ad targeting, ensuring seamless integration between the MarTech and other systems involving data platforms and infrastructure.
  • Data and Analytics Enablement by collaborating with Data teams, supporting the implementation of analytics engineering and tools to enable Marketers to create high ROI activity.
  • Stakeholder management, by partnering with marketing leaders and team members, acting as a bridge between engineering and marketing teams and, at times, managing vendor relationships.
  • Governance and compliance by ensuring the martech stack complies with data privacy and security standards and establishing best practices for tracking, reporting, and data management overall.
  • During the first 30 days, build relationships, assess the current state, and identify immediate priorities.
  • During the first 60 days, establish a roadmap, optimize processes, and deliver incremental improvements.
  • During the first 90 days, achieve measurable results, empower the team, and set the foundation for long-term success.
