The Project Manager supports ASU Preparatory Academy by leading complex, cross-functional projects that align with strategic goals and operational priorities. This role collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to define project scopes, develop timelines, manage resources, and ensure the successful delivery of high-impact initiatives. This role will focus on leading strategic projects that support ASU Prep’s growth, operational improvements, and organizational priorities across multiple departments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or related field, required.
2-4 years of progressive experience in project management or related roles.
Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, with a preference for those involving physical infrastructure, construction, or facilities-related work.
Experience with project management within an educational setting, construction, real estate, and/or facilities is highly preferred, but not required.
Professional certification such as Project Management Professional, Certified SCRUM Master, Agile Project Management or equivalent, preferred.
Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
Plan and lead the full project lifecycle projects by collaborating with stakeholders to define scope and goals, developing detailed project plans and timelines, allocating resources, and managing teams through execution to successful delivery.

Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact project success.
Monitor project progress and performance, adjusting plans and schedules as necessary.
Lead weekly meetings with leadership to provide details and status updates on upcoming, active, and recently completed projects
Support academic operations by assisting with classroom scheduling, ensuring optimal use of space and alignment with instructional needs.
Ensure clear and timely communication with stakeholders and leadership.
Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder briefings.
Maintain accurate documentation of project activities, decisions, and changes.
Assist with coordination of various vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders.
Oversee vendor coordination and contract management.
Follow established processes and complete facilities purchase requests accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare, submit, and track required facilities-related paperwork to ensure compliance with organizational procedures.
Track budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects remain within scope and financial targets.
Ensure and track compliance with regulatory, organizational, and operational requirements.
Support (or manage) space planning and programming to optimize educational environments and operational efficiency.
Support organizational change management through clear planning and communication.
Conduct post-project evaluations and develop recommendations for future improvements.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing project outcomes, budgets, challenges, and successes.
Handle sensitive information with a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in alignment with organizational policies and expectations.

Demonstrated knowledge in clarifying roles and responsibilities to ensure comprehension of expectations and ability to take action to mitigate conflict.
Demonstrated knowledge and abilities with industry standard project management software.

UCENT- 4 days a week in-person & 1 day remote.
