- High School diploma/GED or presently attending high school.
- Current licensure from the State of Illinois. Those without a license may work for 60 days from date of license application through Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation. Those enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy are exempt from certification requirements, but will need to obtain a “Pharmacy Technician- Student Designation” license from IDFPR.
- Completion of Pharmacy Technician Certification within two (2) years of date license was first issued.
- Retail pharmacy or hospital experience is preferred, in particular in unit dose distribution, compounding non-sterile medications, IV admixture including USP<797> and <800>, and automated dispensing machine technology.
- Work Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift. Monday- Friday 7:30am until 4:00pm
- Evening, night, and weekend shift differential, Overtime, On-call pay.
