- Proven experience leading commercial audio-visual installation projects involving Crestron, Extron, or AMX control platforms
- Strong leadership and supervision skills; ability to manage onsite teams and subcontractors
- Ability to interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and technical documents
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Crestron, Extron, and AMX control systems
- Skilled in cable pulls, terminations, equipment mounting, rack building, and system testing
- Ability to maintain project timelines, budgets, and company standards
- Strong communication with Project Manager; provide on-site training and client walkthroughs
- Knowledge of safety standards, local codes, and job site protocols
- Ability to maintain documentation: change orders, punch lists, daily reports
- Lead and oversee the installation of commercial AV systems including displays, projectors, video walls, speakers, microphones, control systems, and related infrastructure
- Interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and technical documents to execute project plans
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Crestron, Extron, and/or AMX control systems
- Supervise and coordinate field technicians and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to company standards
- Perform cable pulls, terminations, equipment mounting, rack building, and system testing
- Maintain communication with the Project Manager regarding project progress, resource needs, and any onsite issues or delays
- Conduct quality checks and functional testing to verify proper system performance before project turnover
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and job site protocols
- Provide on-site training or system walkthroughs to clients or end users as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation including change orders, punch lists, and daily reports
- Prior experience as an AV foreman or lead technician on commercial installation projects
- Crestron, Extron, or AMX certification or advanced training
