  • 5 years of experience in the sales engineering, developer, or security space
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of coding languages and how they work
  • Knowledge of the developer and DevOps ecosystems and practices
  • Passion for learning about and tinkering with new technologies
  • Ability to plan and succeed, setting milestones along the way, over-communicate, create alignment, rally resources, and satisfy stakeholders

Responsibilities
  • Becoming a technical product expert, evangelist, and coach
  • Educating customers and partners about the adoption of open-source and cloud-native technologies
  • Driving the technical aspects of the sale, providing demonstrations, managing technical proof of concepts (POCs), demonstrating product/technical expertise, and sharing best practice
  • Interfacing with sales, engineering, product, and customer success teams to build solutions that solve customers' problems
  • Shaping and informing decisions on new features based on experience and feedback from customers
  • Traveling to conferences and meeting customers and prospects in person
