Requirements
  • At least 2 years of patient-facing experience in a healthcare setting
  • At least 1 year of scheduling experience with orders including DME
  • Previous experience with EMR systems (Athena knowledge is a plus!)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to quickly build trust with patients
  • Strong communication skills, and a flexible and positive attitude
  • Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of G-Suite (e.g., Google Docs)
  • US work authorization
Responsibilities
  • Manage follow-up appointment scheduling for patients
  • Help patients schedule and coordinate referrals, imaging, procedures, and screenings appointments and support them in completing these visits
  • Process prior authorization and DME requests
  • Organize and locate patient medical records
  • Support a care pod with daily operational activities including visit planning, virtual visit troubleshooting, and assisting patients with urgent needs
  • Collaborate with your care pod to carry out patient care plans
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and abide by HIPAA standards
  • Other duties as assigned
