About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Promotional Copywriter to join our promotional writing team. You’ll have an excellent understanding of promotional healthcare communications strategies, with the ability to craft and deliver creative campaigns and materials based on scientific and strategic understanding, and an interpretation of product attributes and data. You’ll work across multiple key accounts in a writing team of c.5.
A key part of this role is ensuring the creativity and scientific integrity of content developed across a number of accounts and disciplines (i.e., healthcare advertising, PR, patient engagement, etc.). Being part of the wider WPP network means you will have access to some amazing resources and minds, and the opportunity to learn about subjects outside of the healthcare space.
We work on a hybrid basis with 2 days from the office and 2 from home or wherever suits you best.
What You’ll Need
- You’re a copywriter with solid experience in writing promotional content for healthcare (i.e., advertising materials directed at healthcare professionals)
- Previous experience within a medical or healthcare communications agency
- Experience working on commercial projects - sales rep materials, detail aids, leave behinds, messaging houses etc
- Keen understanding of promotional medical communications strategy, including integration of market and competitor insights into positioning, messaging and, ultimately, content development
- Willingness to work across project stages from creative conceptualisation and strategy through to material development and review
- Ability to deliver high-quality scientific content, review work of junior colleagues, and provide internal leadership of small editorial teams
- Confidence to lead scientific discussions with clients and external experts, face to face and on calls
- High attention to detail and ability to adapt to client’s compliance needs
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
