Requirements
- Experience of 12 to 15 years in DevOps, release management, and project delivery coordination across cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to mobile app build processes (Android/iOS), app packaging, or release workflows.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Understanding of cloud deployment models on Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices, and software architecture principles.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination with project managers, including cross-functional teams across Development, QA, DevOps, Infra/Cloud Operations, and Support.
- Ability to anticipate risks and proactively drive mitigation actions based on delivery data and team inputs.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences, and to manage conflicting priorities under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate DevOps, release, and build-related project activities across multiple mobile projects, including planning and onboarding new customers and coordinating with the Project Management team.
- Oversee automation of building pipelines and operational processes, ensuring readiness and governance for releases.
- Coordinate operational activities such as escalation handling, recurring issue analysis, and dashboard generation to monitor project health.
- Perform Agile project management tasks including sprint planning, velocity tracking, dependency and risk management, and process improvement to enhance automation and best practices.
- Act as the central coordination point across Development, QA, DevOps, Infra/Cloud Operations, and Support teams to facilitate daily/weekly stand-ups, sprint planning, release readiness reviews, and stakeholder sync-ups.
- Communicate status updates, risks, and blockers clearly and proactively to UK project managers and internal PM teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, dependencies, and timelines across all involved teams.
