Requirements
- Lead Quality Assurance Analyst with 5-7 years of experience in the finance industry (commodities/exchange trading environment a plus)
- Excellent understanding of FIX protocol (preferably FIXML)
- Strong API testing experience using Sonic JMS / IBM MQ / HTTP
- Knowledge of test and defect management tools (Quality Center, Jira)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries to verify data in Oracle Database
- Understanding and advocacy of Agile & Behaviour-Driven Development best practices for QA
- Writing scenario outlines and feature files using Behaviour-Driven Development methodology
Responsibilities
- Advocate for Agile and Behaviour-Driven Development best practices for QA
- Write scenario outlines and feature files using Behaviour-Driven Development methodology
- Assist team and Product Owner with defining and documenting acceptance criteria
- Coordinate or perform API testing across Sonic JMS, IBM MQ, and HTTP interfaces
- Ensure FIX protocol knowledge is applied to testing activities (preferably FIXML)
- Verify data integrity in Oracle Database using SQL queries
- Utilize test and defect management tools such as Quality Center and Jira for tracking and reporting
