Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Merchandising Operational Excellence team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Partner with product management, merchandising, supply chain, and other groups to drive project success and solve complex problems.
  • Optimize merchandising processes, including assortment transitions, SKU rationalization, and vendor selection methodologies.
  • Implement and leverage planning tools, systems, and technology to enhance efficiency and accuracy in merchandise planning.
  • Develop and communicate business strategies, progress, and action plans to stakeholders, driving execution across teams.
  • Manage the implementation of business solutions to streamline merchandising processes, continuously refining methodologies and leveraging cross-functional best practices.
  • Execute multiple business plans and projects by identifying stakeholder needs, developing priorities, measuring progress, and adjusting performance as needed.
  • Coach teams on Lean and Design principles, facilitating process mapping, waste identification, and customer-centric design decisions.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project success.
