Who We Are:
Interested in building machines with commonsense intelligence? With the Mosaic team, you will be at the forefront of research in Commonsense in AI. As a Young Investigator, you’ll have the opportunity to work on various aspects of commonsense in AI:
- How should we model commonsense reasoning capabilities?
- How should we represent commonsense in our AI models?
- How should we reason across modalities -- e.g. images and text?
- How should we collect and organize commonsense knowledge?
- How should we benchmark commonsense reasoning capabilities of AI?
- How should we reason through generation?
- How should we identify and mitigate biases in our datasets?
- How should we ?
Your Next Challenge:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Dedicated AI2 mentor: Mentorship in research, grant writing, and more
- 50% collaborative work on an AI2 project
- 50% work on your own projects
- Commonsense Reasoning:
- Modeling: How should we build models that demonstrate commonsense reasoning?
- Multimodality: How should we build models that can reason from information obtained from different modalities -- e.g. images and text?
