  • Able to affirm and/or acknowledge World Reliefs Core Beliefs, Statement of Faith, Christian Identity and National Evangelicals For the Health of The Nation document
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in Social Work or other relevant field AND minimum 3 years of experience in refugee resettlement or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supervising a professional team
  • Proven track record of successfully leading a team
  • Experience managing grants, preferably government grants
  • Current driver’s license AND clean driving record
  • Authorization to legally work in the US
Responsibilities
  • Oversee resettlement programs: Reception and Placement (R&P) grant contracts and services including R&P and Matching Grant (MG)
  • Ensure excellence in service delivery
  • Ensure contract compliance in regard to R&P/MG records and reporting
  • Complete annual abstracts and work with World Relief Home office to secure funding for programs
  • Provide fiscal oversight and ensure fiscal and reporting guidelines are understood and followed by R&P and MG staff
  • Act as office liaison and advocate with relevant Federal and WA State stakeholders
  • Coordinate and lead Quarterly Community Consultations for community stakeholders, and state and city officials
  • Provide consultation and training for community partners related to refugee resettlement
  • Prepare and submit proposals, budgets, and reports for government and private contracts
  • Ensure that contract reports are reviewed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Prepare internal monthly R&P reports for Finance Director
  • Support Program Managers in writing semi-annual and annual reports
  • Oversee PRM Monitoring, ORR Monitoring, and internal monitoring
  • Directly supervise Resettlement Program Managers (2)
  • Provide professional development to R&P staff through the creation of quarterly goals and provide accountability in reaching goals
  • Oversee hiring and corrective measures as needed for all Resettlement staff
  • Conduct or delegate annual R&P/MG staff reviews
  • Ensure high quality, ethical service provision to all clients
  • Provide training to staff to ensure quality and consistency in service provision, documentation, and training compliance with government contracts
  • Create/update internal resettlement-related policies as needed
  • Conduct weekly department meeting
  • Work together with World Relief Spokane (WRS) Executive Director to embody and uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization
  • Support the overall tone and culture of the office as set by WRS Executive Director
  • Proactively build unity internally and organization wide
  • Work with Executive Director and department Directors to ensure a healthy, collaborative working environment
  • Interact with WR staff and external partners, volunteers, and other agencies in a way that represents the WR brand and standards of conduct
  • Participate in meetings and present as requested by Executive Director, including all regular staff meetings, Weekly Director’s meeting, Monthly Leadership team meeting, Other meetings as requested;Attend and represent World Relief Spokane at training and networking events locally and as requested by Executive Director and/or WR Home Office
