Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience designing women's Denim Products
  • Proven track record of building and developing Denim styles and have worked at scale
  • Deep technical knowledge of Denim RM and Wash Requests
  • High competency with fittings and ability to communicate clearly around fit intent
  • Strong P.O.V on relevant trend
Responsibilities
  • Conduct seasonal research on Women’s Denim.
  • Brainstorm new product ideas with the VP of Design and CCO.
  • Translate all Women’s Denim Style sketches into Illustrator and prepare technical packages.
  • Create Denim RM wash briefs by selecting wear patterns, shade references, and detail references for each style; carry-over color refreshes, and new styles.
  • Organize and manage the denim fabric and wash standards internal Everlane archive for convenient reference.
  • Responsible for tracking Denim wash developments and communicating feedback and comments clearly and timely to PD and vendor partners.
  • Prepare presentations for all cross-functional milestone meetings with a clear POV of Denim Fashion trends, with direction on how to seed new styles and build on existing top blocks and core Denim build-outs.
  • BOM creation and management of all Women’s Denim products.
  • Partner with Product Development to complete seasonal BOMs in the WFX system (Everlane's Product Lifecycle Management - PLM).
  • Attend all Women’s Denim fittings and communicate updates and fit comments clearly to impacted teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Men’s Denim Designer for RM and Wash instructions and sample yardage ordering.
  • Initiate and create designs using research and inspirational images and techniques.
