Requirements
  • Basic knowledge of finished carpentry, millwork installation, electrical connections, plumbing connections, and information technology connections.
  • A high school diploma is required.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass Department of Transportation requirements are required.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and basic computer-aided design drawings with measurements.
  • Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively to customers or employees.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Ability to solve practical problems involving a variety of concrete variables with limited standardization.
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule-based instructions.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, and push or pull up to 700 pounds using heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, electrical shock hazards, outdoor weather, heights, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures, radiation risk, and vibration.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare vending and market equipment for installation at accounts and complete installations and removals for current and new accounts.
  • Work with managers and customers to determine the best course of action for installing or removing equipment.
  • Drive to locations throughout the region as part of the installation team.
  • Move equipment between the warehouse and customer sites using proper handling equipment.
  • Unload and clean trash from the delivery vehicle, perform daily vehicle operational checks, report vehicle problems, and secure the vehicle keys.
  • Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for equipment repair, installation, and removal.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform work safely.
  • Test and fill machines to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
