Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a related field
- 4+ years of managing high performing agile teams engineering teams with a strong track record of delivery for cross-functional product experience with Cloud native environments
- 2+ years experience leading managers
- 8+ years of full-stack software development experience
- Experienced with Javascript based frameworks
- Experienced in AWS development with hands-on knowledge lambda, S3, and other AWS services
- Strong understanding of engineering software processes, lifecycle methodology, configuration management, release management, and system verification and testing
- Proven ability to recruit and retain world-class engineers
- Excellent managerial skills and interpersonal skills; effectively communicate and collaborate with all areas of engineering, ability to interact and work with staff at all levels
- Desired but not required
- Knowledge of Java and standard packages/libraries
- Exposure to test automation: TDD, unit/integration/functional testing
- Exposure to web/cloud application design and architectural principles
- Exposure to microservice based architecture
- Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases

- What We Offer
- The base salary range for this position is $180K to $230K. Offered salary will be determined by several factors, including but not limited to: applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Business Wire reserves the right to modify this salary range at any time

Responsibilities
- Lead and grow an efficient and high performing diverse software development organization with a culture of agile development and continuous improvement and learning
- Promote an inclusive team culture that challenges and empowers everyone to do the best work of their career
- Identify organizational optimizations that will help improve development speed and quality
- Work with the leaders on your team to ensure technical best practices are constantly developed and enforced
- Champion engineering excellence, establishing business metrics, and drive continuous operational improvement
- Work independently and suggest ideas, solutions and technical improvements for products and systems to increase revenue, reduce time to market, and make our systems more capable of adapting to shifting business requirements
- Provide escalation support for on call support rotation
- Effectively communicate feedback and decisions to your internal team and external partners
- Lead and participate in critical technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across our product and operations teams
- Own the success of your team's product and deliver quantifiable results in a timely manner
