WHAT IS THE POSITION
The Affiliate Partnership Manager is tasked with driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies while partnering with Edmentum’s sales and Instructional Services. This position will support new and current partners in the development of virtual private school programs using Apex Learning Virtual School as the diploma-issuing institution while selling products and services directly to the consumer. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. The Affiliate Partnership Manager oversees the entire process, from prospecting to closing deals, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Monitoring performance metrics and staying informed about private school market trends are also crucial aspects of the role. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset to drive success in sales initiatives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Effectively Implement the Sales Process
a. Identify and develop new acquisition sales opportunities within assigned territory through networking and cold calling efforts.
b. Accurately assess and analyze consumer customer needs and identify appropriate solutions.
c. Prepares and conducts strategic presentations and demonstrations to qualified prospects.
d. Responsible for defining prospects, setting appointments, and closing beneficial sales within a defined territory.
e. Effectively navigate multiple steps in the consumer sales process with multiple decision makers demonstrating the ability to influence high level decision makers.
f. Create a go-to market strategy to support actionable and measurable milestones for consumer customer acquisition, retention, and expansion of ALVS consumer product line.
g. Effectively meet and/or exceed company goals and personal quotas associated with ALVS consumer product lines.
2. Display Thorough Knowledge of ALVS and EOA Full Time and Part Time Products
a. Maintains proficiency in Edmentum products and services and appropriately position Edmentum consumer solutions against the competition.
b. Participates in key trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products.
3. Instructional Compliance Management
a. Stay abreast of education industry regulations and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to state and federal policy as they pertain to public, private, and charter schools.
b. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of virtual education compliance policies and procedures.
c. Stays current and informed in federal, state, and local funding options.
d. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and work processes throughout the selling process.
e. Ability to guide new affiliate partners through ALVS application, transcript review, course selection, enrollment, and graduation processes.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
a. Generate regular reports on sales metrics and pipeline status for leadership review.
b. Maintain accurate information and activity tracking in CRM (Salesforce.com).
c. Manage travel and expense budgets.
d. Responsible for assisting sales and sales operations in fulfilling and maintaining Request for Proposals (RFPs).
5. Communication and Relationship Building:
a. Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders, educational institutions, state departments of education, and virtual teaching communities.
6. Continuous Improvement:
a. Engage in self-development and training, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of Edmentum consumer products and services.
b. Identify areas for improvement in sales and implementation processes and implement enhancements.
c. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in virtual education.
d. Solicits customer feedback to provide input to product management, marketing and leadership on potential ALVS product enhancements and opportunities.
By effectively balancing affiliate partnerships with instructional compliance management, you will contribute to the success of the virtual education team and the overall growth of the organization.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
1. Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of campus and district leadership experience.
- Strong business acumen managing to bottom line profitability.
- Exceptional time management, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence sales process through effective presentations.
- Knowledge of products, pricing, competition, and sales objectives.
2. Instructional Compliance Knowledge:
o In-depth understanding of education industry regulations and compliance standards at both state and federal levels.

o High ethical standards and awareness of legal implications in recruitment and compliance.
