Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of professional automotive diagnosis and repair experience is required.
- ASE or manufacturer certifications are preferred.
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills are required.
- Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment is required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment is required.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
- Good communication and team-oriented collaboration are required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicants must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, inspect, and repair vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, air conditioning, and other vehicle components.
- Use diagnostic equipment and testing procedures to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
- Road test vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship.
- Document completed repairs and communicate findings with service advisors and management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with manufacturer technology and repair procedures.
