Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field, preferred.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in digital marketing with a broad purview across channels & systems
  • Basic proficiency required in SQL & Excel, including SELECT statements & pivot tables for dynamic, dashboard-based reporting, though additional training will be provided
  • A broad-based knowledge of ad servers, programmatic technology, web analytics, customer data platforms, and data connectors (hands-on experience with each of these tools is not required, though it is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including search, social media, email marketing
  • Knowledge of tag management tools, such as Tealium, Google Tag Manager
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the full lifecycle of marketing technology, from assessment of vendors to implementation and adoption, including new attribution, measurement, and optimization technology across digital marketing channels
  • Assist technology & marketing teams in the implementation and administration of the Google Marketing Platform including GA4, CM360, DV360, SA360 (note that this role will not involve maintaining paid media campaigns)
  • Participate in RFP processes for new MarTech vendors
  • Work with Financial Planning & Accounts Payable to help track MarTech expenditures & vendor documents
  • Combine multiple data sources such as Google Campaign Manager, GA4 and others to provide holistic reporting and deeper insights into marketing programs
  • Stay up-to-date on trends in the marketing industry, especially as pertaining to new data & technology practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, across Marketing, Technology, and Product to support marketing and product initiatives with available data
  • Assist Sourcing & Legal at Dow Jones with business questions pertaining to net new vendors and technologies
  • Act as resource within Dow Jones to assist with reporting on CRM, ad server, web analytics, and CDP systems
