  • Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license and Basic Life Support certification.
  • Must have at least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient or similar healthcare setting.
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Must have communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license to support potential travel between clinic sites or community outreach services.
  • Must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect for Native American communities, including an understanding of their healthcare needs, traditions, and barriers.
  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check; failure to pass either may result in withdrawal of the job offer or termination.
Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to patients under the direction and orders of the Clinic Physician.
  • Take and record vital signs, prepare patients for examinations and procedures, administer medications, collect specimens, and assist the provider with procedures and examinations.
  • Provide patient education on medications, treatment, and follow-up care.
  • Assist patients with Contract Health Services referrals, appointments, and follow-up procedures.
  • Order laboratory and medical supplies when needed.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the position as required or assigned by the immediate or controlling supervisor.
