Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience in technical, business, and/or IT roles with focus on Identity and Access Management
  • Proven track record of developing and executing on enterprise identity solutions
  • Knowledge of general industry IAM concepts and best practices, in particular, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as NIST/FedRamp, SOX, SOC, ISO, SOC2, PCI, ZeroTrust, SaaS Security Framework, Data Security Foundations, etc.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non technical audiences, verbally and in writing
  • Experience with software quality assurance and testing
  • Experience managing numerous, competing demands from stakeholders while maintaining excellent and on time delivery
  • Exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills in a complex, matrix environment and demonstrates the ability to broker agreements among diverse, differing, or completing priorities and perspectives
  • Confidence working within agile methodologies
  • Okta Workforce, Okta Customer, and/or CIDPro certifications strongly preferred
  • Other security or analyst certifications are desirable (please list yours)
Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of our Identity and Access Management roadmap by gathering requirements, advising best practices, documenting processes and supporting the team’s engineering capability.
  • Partner deeply with security counterparts to implement identity and access management best practices to secure our company.
  • Steward excellent security practices as it relates to securing Okta against Identity related threats by partnering with Security counterparts and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Guide business internal customers through the entire project lifecycle; conduit between the business and technical delivery teams.
  • Own, write and review requirements with business partners; negotiate detailed requirements and solution design trade-offs.
  • Define and implement business processes, dashboards, use cases and documentation to ensure a robust and durable program.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for the team to reference and share with our internal customers.
  • Enable the engineering team to focus on technical implementation by providing clear requirements, setting expectations, and understanding our technology capabilities.
  • Navigate ambiguity swiftly to determine best course of action and communicating with all relevant stakeholders.
