SMX is seeking an entry-level DevOps Analyst to assist with development of information security systems. This position requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, both civilian and contractor specifically supporting the INDOPACOM J6 Directorate.  This position requires a high level of written and verbal communication skills, a capacity to perform in high stress situations, the ability to multitask and manage various tasks simultaneously, and a high level of attention to detail.  

This position is a temporary, full-time position to be performed June – August 2024

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist J68 enterprise architect with the coordination and execution of multiple projects in line with designated deadlines
• Prepare and update relevant technical artifacts, such as test and analysis reports, system usage reports, operational procedures
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation and deliverables
• Assist with the design and implementation of test utilities and automated infrastructure deployment
• Communicate effectively across all levels of management
• Assist with CI/CD development

Required Skills, Experience & Education

• Ability to obtain DoD Secret
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office programs and other relevant technology applications
• Relevant technical skills in areas such as entry-level experience with network infrastructure, software development, or other directly related technical disciplines.

• Current student seeking B.A. / B.S. degree, preferably in Junior or Senior year
• The ideal candidate will be goal oriented and action focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined
• Able to effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities and possess excellent time management skills
