Pricing Analyst

*This is a full-time, on-site position based at our headquarters in Overland Park, KS. Candidates must currently reside in the Kansas City Metro area or be in the process of relocating prior to the start date.*

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Pricing Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving pricing models across our 3PL operations. The Pricing Analyst will work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, and Account Management to ensure pricing strategies are competitive, accurate, and aligned with company profitability goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pricing Development & Analysis
• Build and maintain pricing models for warehousing, transportation, and value-added services.
• Evaluate customer proposals, RFQs, and renewals to ensure profitability and alignment with strategic goals.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and cost drivers (labor, transportation, fuel, etc.).
• Financial & Operational Insights
• Partner with Operations to understand true cost-to-serve and translate into pricing strategies.
• Provide margin analysis and scenario modeling to support leadership decision-making.
• Monitor customer-level profitability and flag accounts at risk of underperformance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with Sales teams to structure new deals and renewals.
• Support Billing & Revenue teams to ensure pricing setup in systems is accurate and applied consistently.
• Partner with FP&A to provide input for budgeting and forecasting.
• Process Improvement
• Standardize pricing methodologies across business units.
• Develop reporting and dashboards that improve visibility into pricing performance.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate pricing workflows.

“THE PERSON” | MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or business analytics (experience in 3PL, logistics, or supply chain strongly preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills (modeling, scenario analysis, pivot tables); experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar tools a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

The employee is frequently required to use hands to type, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. While infrequent, employee may need to visit warehouse locations in which employee may need to lift, push, and pull up to 20 pounds. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, drive (vehicle), stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
