Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced technical degree strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven record of driving successful product strategies in robotics, warehouse automation, or industrial technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience designing customer or product specifications in the supply chain fulfillment industry
  • Demonstrated success in designing, launching, and scaling high-impact automation products in fulfillment or supply chain environments.
  • Solid technical understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), APIs, and SaaS architectures.
  • Hands-on familiarity with PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens), ladder logic, AOIs, UDTs, SCADA/HMI systems, and industrial communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, user experience design, and customer research methods.
  • Proficiency in PLM systems, feature prioritization, product road mapping, and pricing model development.
  • Expertise in agile product development, UX principles, customer research, and data-driven product iteration.
  • Strong influencing and leadership skills—able to inspire cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Responsibilities
  • Strategic Product Leadership: Define and champion the product vision, roadmap, and go-to-market strategy for next-generation robotic and automation solutions.
  • Market & Customer Intelligence: Continuously gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive data to inform product direction and create differentiated value.
  • Product Lifecycle Ownership: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of automation products—from concept through launch to scale—ensuring alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Innovation & Differentiation: Translate market opportunities and customer challenges into innovative solutions that outperform expectations in performance, reliability, and ROI.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, design, marketing, sales, operations, and customer support to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Voice of the Customer: Represent the customer throughout the product lifecycle and advocate for usability, quality, and value at every decision point.
  • Enablement & Launch: Equip commercial teams with best-in-class enablement tools, including training materials, competitive intelligence, and solution positioning frameworks.
  • Performance Analytics: Leverage user data, adoption trends, and product analytics to drive continuous improvement and increase customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Customer Engagement: Support pilots, product demos, and early adoption programs. Engage directly with strategic customers and partners to validate and iterate product concepts.
  • Risk & Trade-off Management: Balance business goals and technical complexity with customer expectations, managing trade-offs and guiding decision-making.

By MMH Staff January 26, 2026 Ravi Ramanujam will be FORTNA's new CFO FORTNA, a leading warehouse automation, software and consulting company, today announced the appointment of Ravi Ramanujam as the new chief financial officer (CFO) for FORTNA. Ramanujam is a seasoned global finance executive with more than 25 years leading organizations through growth and transformation. He brings multi-industry experience and deep expertise supporting business strategy across capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, integrations and operational enablement. Throughout his career, Ravi has overseen capital allocation, treasury management, financial planning and analysis, and turnaround initiatives in large-scale, project-driven environments. He is known for strengthening operating discipline and improving performance, with a strong focus on cash flow, margin discipline and stakeholder accountability. His leadership approach emphasizes close partnership with operational and commercial leaders to align financial strategy with execution priorities. Ramanujam joins FORTNA from Enfinity Global, where he served as CFO for the Americas, supporting a 36 GW global portfolio of solar and energy storage projects. Ravi also has extensive experience leading finance teams with GE Renewable Energy, GE Power and GE Capital.
