Requirements
  • Five to seven years corporate credit research experience with exposure to multiple non-financial industries preferred
  • Formal credit training and/or exposure to the fixed income markets preferred
  • Completion or progress toward CFA preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet applications required
  • Proficiency in the use of computer tools such as Bloomberg, Excel, PowerPoint and aptitude for quickly learning new skills and technologies
  • Ability and Passion to developing and maintaining relationships with sell-side sector analysts, managements of primary corporate holdings and rating agencies
  • Excellent time-management, planning and organizational skills

Responsibilities
  • Ability to independently research credit fundamentals and evaluate investment opportunities across various sectors
  • Analyzing financial statements, business risk, market technicals, and relative value to generate actionable corporate bond investment recommendations for various investment vehicles
  • Working with senior analysts and Portfolio Managers to make buy, sell and hold recommendations
  • Performing investment strategy analysis for multiple industrial / financial sectors
  • Developing comprehensive industry frameworks and credit reviews for presentations to Portfolio Management
  • Collaborating with Research and Portfolio Management to analyze macro factors and broad market dynamics that have implications for investment strategy
